Under this year’s PlayUk edition, British Council is bringing British films and experts to Kosovo through the annual Prishtina International Film Festival (Prifest), taking place from 17 to 22 July 2018.

Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Production

17 and 18 July 2018 | 10.00–18.00

One of the highlights of the PlayUK 2018 Arcadia programme is a virtual reality and augmented reality workshop for Kosovo filmmakers, architects, electronic musicians, visual artists, and for anybody else who knows what these things mean.

Focus of the two-day workshop will be on the usage of the Unity software, which enables visual reality creators to produce interactive and immersive content for things like Oculus Rift, HTV Vive, Samsung Gear and other virtual reality platforms. The intention is is to get participants quickly through the Unity learning curve, to be up and running making content by the end of the two days with a clear understanding of how to move forward with their own projects.

The workshop expert and presenter is Simon Wilkinson, a seasoned field professional described by CINEUROPA Magazine as ‘one of the most notable names in Europe to be dealing with virtual reality.’

Script Development

 17 and 18 July 2018 | 10.00–18.00
