Cybersecurity is one of the fastest-growing tech sectors worldwide – but there’s a significant shortage of skilled professionals, especially women, who currently represent just 24% of the global cybersecurity workforce, although the demand for talent continues to rise.
ABOUT THE CYBERSECURITY INTERNSHIP SCHEME
If selected, you will have the opportunity to participate in a fully paid, three-month internship programme in the cybersecurity sector at one of Kosovo's esteemed companies / institutions operating in telecommunications, banking, insurance, IT, government etc. This internship is designed to provide you with invaluable hands-on experience and exposure to real-world challenges and opportunities in the cybersecurity field.

This internship scheme is part of the Her Cyber: Empowering Women and Girls in Cyber programme, which aims to increase women’s participation in Kosovo's cybersecurity workforce and is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
We’re looking for women who are fluent in English and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Final-year undergraduate students in IT or engineering or similar fields
- Recent graduates in IT or engineering actively seeking employment
- Master's students in IT or engineering looking to enter the job market
Applicants must be legal residents of Kosovo, as the internship will take place in the country.
