This guide was created as part of the 21st Century Schools program implemented by the British Council in the Western Balkans, to support every primary school in these countries to participate in the program and to establish a Coding Club. We have created this Guide in collaboration with the Raspberry Pi Foundation and with the support of partners from the Micro:bit Education Foundation. This Guide and activities in ti were especially created to help you get started.
As part of the program, all schools in the Western Balkans will receive a donation of the micro:bit-pocket computers for students to program and use in everyday problem-solving subjects.
The program will help teachers to upgrade their skills and knowledge, as well as to effectively implement teaching by applying critical thinking, problem-solving. and coding. The program will also support school principals to increase their capacity to manage, promote, and introduce critical thinking, problem-solving, and coding in their schools.
